Take a current backup before importing over a working database.
Steps
- Open Websites & Domains, then Databases.
- Find the destination database and select Import Dump.
- Upload the supported dump file or choose one already stored on the server.
- Use Recreate the database only when you intend to replace its current contents.
- Start the import and wait for the completion message.
- Test the website and review its database connection details.
Import into the same database engine used to create the dump. Large files may need support assistance if they exceed the web upload limit.
