How do I create another FTP account?

Create a separate account when another person or application needs file access.

Steps

1. Open Websites & Domains.
2. Open the FTP access area for the relevant domain.
3. Select Add an FTP Account.
4. Set a clear account name and a unique password.
5. Limit the home directory to the smallest folder the account needs.
6. Save the account and test it with FTPS.

Do not share the primary hosting password. Remove unused accounts, and avoid giving a contractor access to every site when one site directory is enough.
