How do I create a subdomain in Plesk?

A subdomain can host separate files under a name such as blog.example.com.

Steps

1. Open Websites & Domains.
2. Select Add Subdomain.
3. Enter only the subdomain part, such as blog.
4. Choose the parent domain.
5. Review the document root and create the subdomain.
6. Upload its files to that document root.

Plesk normally adds the required DNS record when it manages DNS for the parent domain. If DNS is hosted elsewhere, create the matching record with that provider.
