How do I create a backup in Plesk?

Create a backup before an upgrade, migration, or major content change.

Steps

1. Open Websites & Domains, then Backup Manager.
2. Select Back Up.
3. Choose the configuration and content you need.
4. Choose full or incremental backup if both are available.
5. Start the backup and wait until it appears without an error.
6. Download a copy or use approved remote storage when the backup must survive a server failure.

Backups stored in the hosting account can count toward its disk allowance. A backup is useful only if it completes and can be restored.
