How to add a scheduled task in Plesk

Updated 1 hour ago 2 views

A scheduled task can run a command, fetch a URL, or run a PHP script at set times.

Steps

  1. Open Websites & Domains, then Scheduled Tasks.
  2. Select Add Task.
  3. Choose the task type that matches the application's instructions.
  4. Enter the command, URL, or script path exactly as supplied.
  5. Set the schedule and notification behaviour.
  6. Save the task, then use Run Now to test it.

A task that fails during the test will also fail on its schedule. On Linux hosting, command paths may be limited to the subscription's environment. Ask support if an executable outside that environment is required.
